Special Parts
10123 Cloud City included 698 parts. There were 14 exclusive parts, apart from the minifigures. However, there are many notable parts worth mentioning!
Part #4150px17
Description: Tile, Round 2 x 2 with Gray and Black Machinery Pattern
Color: Black
Quantity: 2
Exclusivity?: No
Notes:
This printed part appears in only one other set: 7190 Millennium Falcon

Part #3741
Description: Plant Flower Stem
Color: Brown
Quantity: 2
Exclusivity?: Yes
Notes:
10123 is the only set with this part in brown. Average Bricklink sales range at $4 per part used.

Part #64567
Description: Minifigure, Weapon Lightsaber Hilt Straight
Color: Chrome Silver
Quantity: 2
Exclusive?: No
Notes:
Lightsaber hilts are produced by Lego still, but they no longer come in Chrome Silver. New condition hilts in this color fetch average prices of $1 each on Bricklink.

Part #4204
Description: Brick 8 x 16
Color: Old Dark Gray
Quantity: 5
Exclusive?: No
Notes:
This part appears mainly in Harry Potter Lego sets. For those unfamiliar, Harry Potter Lego sets have incredible resale values.

Part #3176
Description: Plate, Modified 3 x 2 with Hole
Color: Old Dark Gray
Quantity: 1
Exclusive?: Yes
Notes:
This is a common Lego mold, but 10123 remains the only set to have it in the color Old Dark Gray. This part sells for about $3 new on Bricklink.

Part #44728
Description: Bracket 1 x 2 - 2 x 2
Color: Old Gray
Quantity: 4
Exclusive?: No
Notes:
This mold and color were not exclusive, but was notable for being released in 2002. 10123 was among the first and last to have this in Old Light Gray, a color phased out in 2004.

Part #2356
Description: Brick 4 x 6
Color: Old Gray
Quantity: 7
Exclusive?: No
Notes:
This brick is shared with two other notable sets: 10029 Lunar Lander, and 10030 Ultimate Collector Series Imperial Star Destroyer. It will cost at least $1 to get one of these, depending on the quantity you need.

Part #33230
Description: Brick, Round Corner 16 x 16
Color: Old Gray
Quantity: 4
Exclusive?: Yes
Notes:
There is a funny quirk about this part. It was originally released in a Belville set. Every production of this part came in vibrant colors to match the theme, except in 10123, where it came in Old Gray. As a result, this part sells for about $20 on Bricklink, with very few vendors offering it in the necessary quantity.

Part #75c09
Description: Hose, Rigid 3mm D. 9L / 7.2cm
Color: Old Gray
Quantity: 2
Exclusive?: No
Notes:
Lego does not frequently produce hoses like these, and these are incredibly useful parts to builders. This part sells for $1 on Bricklink.

Part #75c20
Description: Hose, Rigid 3mm D. 20L / 16.0cm
Color: Old Gray
Quantity: 1
Exclusive?: Yes
Notes:
An exclusive to 10123, this part is listed at an average of $16 on Bricklink. Something to note, these photos were taken using an assembled 10123. The clips holding the hoses were notoriously brittle and prone to breaking, thanks to an old design. It was decided to keep these on to preserve the condition. However, Lego has since updated the clips.

Part #30646b
Description: Support 2 x 2 x 8 with Grooves and Top Peg, Smooth on All Sides
Color: Old Gray
Quantity: 1
Exclusive?: Yes
Notes:
This part, like 33230, has an interesting past. Outside of 10123, this was only produced in Lego Juniors 4+ sets! For this set, this is also the only time it appears in Old Gray.

Part #4150ps4
Description: Tile, Round 2 x 2 with Grille Fine Mesh Pattern
Color: Old Gray
Quantity: 2
Exclusive?: No
Notes:
This is probably the most commonly shared part on this page, but it still has a surprisingly high value. Average sales on Bricklink are $2 each!

Part #41767 & #41768
Description: Wedge 4 x 2 Left & Wedge 4 x 2 Right
Color: Old Gray
Quantity: 1 Each
Exclusive?: No
Notes:
These were produced in equal quantities in two other sets. Strangely enough, the right one sells for $7, but the left one sells for $2 on average. Even though neither is more rare than the other.
Go figure!

Part #3066
Description: Brick 1 x 4 without Bottom Tubes
Color: Trans-Neon Orange
Quantity: 4
Exclusive?: Yes
Notes:
Something to note, Lego produces two variants of the 1 x 4 brick. One with bottom tubes to grip studs, and the one seen here without bottom tubes, to provide more transparency.

Part #4716
Description: Technic, Gear Worm Screw, Long
Color: White
Quantity: 4
Exclusive?: No
Notes:
A fun quirk about this part is that it is only seen in white in one other set: 8511 Frost of the Technic Roboriders line that preceded Bionicle. Despite being shared with an economically priced set, it holds an average value of $5 on Bricklink. 8511 Frost had an original MSRP of $6.

Part #30516c01
Description: Turntable 4 x 4 Locking Grooved Base with (Same Color) Top
Color: White
Quantity: 1
Exclusive?: No
Notes:
This turntable in this color is shared with only one set: 7476 Iron Predator vs. T-Rex. The original production of 7476 was in the theme, Dino Attack. But, when Lego released it in Europe, they reformatted it into Dino 2010, with an emphasis on capturing, rather than fighting Dinosaurs. As a result, the reissued set did not include the cannon featuring this turntable.
